Act Fast – Loan Repayment Opportunity Extended till November 20!

Students in their final year of medical school at an accredited U.S. allopathic and osteopathic medical school may apply now to receive up to $120,000 in loan repayment through the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Students to Service Loan Repayment Program.  If selected, recipients must commit for three years (full time) or six years (half time) to providing primary care by working at an approved NHSC site located in a Health Professional Shortage Area of greatest need.

To be eligible, applicants must be full-time students in the final year of medical school and be planning to attend an accredited primary medical care residency in an NHSC approved specialty: internal medicine, family practice, pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, geriatrics and psychiatry.

If awarded, recipients will receive four payments, beginning the summer after medical school graduation and each summer following for the first three years of residency.
