Denver Post Ranks Clinica as a Top Workplace

It’s no secret that we spend a lot of time at our jobs – for a full time worker, about half of our waking hours are spent at work – so having a great place to work just makes life better.

The people who are employed by Colorado’s Community Health Centers (CHCs) are some of the luckiest. We’ve always known that working at a CHC is a rewarding career, but now there’s even more proof.

Check out the Denver Post’s recent “Top Workplaces” report that polled about 25,600 employees from 178 companies and other organizations in the Denver area. One of our very own CHCs – Clinica Family Health Services – is ranked number 10 in midsize employers.

What makes Clinica and other CHCs such a great places to work?

  • A rewarding mission of caring for the underserved in the community
  • Excellent colleagues
  • Competitive salaries and benefits
  • Professional growth opportunities
  • Being part of a team that is focused on high-quality care and health care innovations

One respondent to the poll said of Clinica, “My manager helps me learn and grow by serving as an excellent mentor and role model herself. She also provides me with valuable feedback as well as avenues to develop new skills.”

And another employee said, “The environment here is one of a BIG family where we care for each other. Clinica appreciates their employees and respects them. ”

Whether it’s the professional development opportunities, the advanced technology, the focus on creating the best Patient Centered Medical Homes for uninsured and low-income community members, or simply the friendly colleagues, CHCs are great places to work.
