Corps Community Day, a day of training and celebration for National and Colorado Health Service Corps programs, is an opportunity for job seekers and students to learn and network with representatives of Colorado’s safety-net health care facilities, as well as providers, residents, health care workers, and students pursuing careers in primary health care for the underserved. The event will be held at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.
Health care students, residents, and job seekers, NHSC/CHSC alum, and Community Health Center staff please join us for the free annual Corps Community Connection and Award Ceremony that will be filled with networking, food, and celebration for those dedicated to serving the Corps – past, present, and future. This reception will take place at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs Upper Lodge and will begin at 9:00 am. Breakfast will be served.
Free public health training will be offered after the reception and open to any who wish to attend. Possible training topics this year will include Harm Reduction; and Implicit Bias. Please register for trainings as space is limited.
